In 1997, Steven J. Cannell of "Rockford Files" fame (and many other TV shows) directed a pilot episode for a new version of Hawaii Five-O. It was never aired, because no one bothered to check that Chin Ho Kelly, one of the characters appearing in the show, had been killed off during Five-O's original run (in fact, in the tenth season finale A Death in the Family, in which Elissa appeared). In the pilot, Governor Dan Williams is shot at the beginning. In the scene below, Elissa plays Gerri, who works at the hospital where Williams has been admitted. She talks to Jimmy Berk (Gary Busey), one of two men selected to run the "new" Five-O. The screen shots were taken from a VHS tape and the quality is not that great.
