In this show, Elissa plays the daughter of Cappy Pahoa (Manu Tupou), boss of the kumu (Hawaiian mafia). Jimmy Rego (Rene Santoni), Kini's boyfriend and one of Cappy's minions, murders Chin Ho Kelly and when Chin's daughter Suzy (Jean Marie Hon) returns to Honolulu for her father's funeral, Kini (who knows Suzy from the past) hangs out with her.
