Elissa's appearance in this show is only about 20 seconds long, although she gets credit at the end. She plays the girl friend of hitman Malcolm Vaughn (Jonathan Goldsmith) who knocks off McGarrett's girl friend Cathi Ryan (Camilla Sparv) and then makes it look like McGarrett did it. Nali comes out of the house on Maui where Vaughn is hiding, and McGarrett grabs her and clamps her mouth shut so she will not scream and alert Vaughn to the cops' presence. It is quite likely that more of Elissa's role may have wound up on the cutting room floor.
